Apple-Shaped Straw Buddies

By Marie LeBaron

With the fall season upon us, it’s time to craft up some apple projects. Today I’m happy to be sharing a fun craft for sipping on your apple cider. These apple-shaped straw buddies are great for kids to make and use every time they sip on apple juice or apple cider!

Supplies for Apple-Shaped Straw Buddies:
Craft foam – red, yellow, green
Pencil – optional
Markers – brown, green

1. Cut out a small apple shape out of your craft foam. You can use a pencil to draw your shape first if you’d like or simply cut it free-hand.

2. With your markers, color in the stem and leaf.

3. Fold your apple in half vertically and cut 2 small slits ¼ inch wide, about ½ an inch apart. This is where your straw will go.

4. Thread your straw through the holes of the apple

Now your ready for some fall time sippin’! Have fun celebrating apple season.
